It is learning to surrender to the ebb and flow of life, to understand that everything grows in cycles and spirals, and to remain grounded and vertical while dancing with change.

It is learning to embrace the impermanence of life, to recognize the beauty of each ever-changing moment—the movement of the tides, the cycles of the moon, the inner seasons.

The story behind

DANU ANIMA

My name is Camille. I am a self-taught artist from Switzerland.

When I was a child, I drew constantly and was certain that I wanted to become an artist. But after graduating from high school, I closed all the doors to creativity. That marked the beginning of a difficult phase in my life, during which I plunged into my depths, exploring different ways to numb myself and control my sensitivity.

It wasn't until I was 25, five years ago, that I reconnected with creativity and reopened a door that had been closed for a long time. As I began to awaken parts of my soul that had fallen asleep, creativity slowly returned to my life, illuminating the darker corners of my consciousness. As it reemerged, many things began to rise to the surface—and that is when the real work began.

From that moment on, my connection to creativity grew stronger and deeper, eventually leading me away from university and toward a freer exploration of life, guided by trust in the unfolding of the journey.

Creativity is my guide, my inner compass—a muse that continually reminds me to return to the heart and to the present moment. It is a doorway to the grace of existence.

I am deeply inspired by Mother Earth—her colors, landscapes, textures, and endless expressions of beauty. I believe creativity arises from a profound connection with the divine, with oneself, and with the Earth.

I realize that I am still at the very beginning of this journey. My art is evolving, and so is my relationship with it: my why, my how, and my understanding of what it means to create. Creativity is a constant invitation to transformation and transmutation.

Within that continual change lies a teaching: a call to humility, presence, patience, and the integration of the sacred into everyday life.

I feel deeply grateful to experience all of this.
